Finding the right home for a dog, or the right dog for a new home, is an important decision and should never be rushed.
Dog World can offer practical guidance to people considering fostering, adopting or rehoming a dog, including helping you think through suitability, circumstances and what questions should be asked before any decision is made.
We can help you consider things such as the dog’s temperament, exercise needs, other pets, children, working hours, home environment and any behavioural or medical needs.
Where appropriate, we can also help point you towards reputable rescue organisations, fostering opportunities and other sources of support.
Dog World does not operate as a rescue centre and cannot guarantee placements or accept every dog needing a new home. Our role is to provide guidance, help people consider their options carefully and support responsible decisions that are in the best interests of the dog.
