Veterinary information can sometimes be difficult to understand, particularly when you are faced with several treatment options, an unexpected diagnosis or a large potential bill.
Dog World can help you understand what has been explained to you, identify useful questions to ask your vet and discuss what other options may be worth exploring. Where appropriate, we can also help you look at obtaining a second veterinary opinion or finding other specialist services.
If the cost of veterinary treatment is causing difficulty, we may also be able to discuss possible sources of financial assistance and, in some circumstances, whether Dog World can provide limited help towards treatment costs.
Our role is to help you make an informed decision — the diagnosis and treatment of your dog must always remain with a qualified veterinary professional.
