WILLOW HENGE
Willow Henge is a secluded circle beneath a canopy of mature willow trees, hidden within Mojo’s Meadow.
Every Willow Henge booking automatically includes exclusive use of the whole of Mojo’s Meadow for the duration of your booking. Your group therefore has the Henge and the meadow entirely to yourselves as a private outdoor space.
Its name comes from the natural circle created by the surrounding willows. A henge is an ancient circular or oval enclosure, often associated with prehistoric gathering and ceremonial places. We chose the name Willow Henge because the setting has that same enclosed, peaceful and slightly magical atmosphere.
Surrounded by mature trees, wildlife and the sounds of nature, Willow Henge provides a very different environment from a classroom or conventional activity space.
TAILOR-MADE SESSIONS
One of Willow Henge’s greatest strengths is that there is no single fixed programme. Visits can be designed around the interests, abilities and needs of the people attending.
Sessions can include: Sensory garden and activities, Storytelling Outdoor lessons and learning Wildlife and nature, Art, Photography, Exploring Mojo’s Meadow.
You can concentrate on one activity or combine several to create a longer, completely bespoke visit.
Willow Henge can be used by schools, care and support organisations, children’s groups, people with additional needs of any age, families and individuals.
MINIMUM DONATION GUIDE
Sessions are offered on a minimum donation basis of £5 per child for each 30 minutes booked.
